Arrests

A 34-year-old male of Lindenhurst was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) on Lakewood Boulevard on Dec. 5 at 8 p.m.

On Dec. 5 at 11:40 p.m., a 31-year-old female of Hicksville was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and leaving the roadway after being found unconscious in her car on the median of Sunrise Highway.

At 11:19 a.m. on Dec. 8, a 35-year-old of Lindenhurst was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, operating a motor vehicle while using a handheld phone and driving an uninspected vehicle on Hempstead Avenue.

A 33-year-old female of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine and suboxone), criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, driving an uninspected vehicle and having an open warrant from Harrisburg Pa., on Peninsula Boulevard on Dec. 8 at 10:10 p.m.

Thefts

An unidentified male stole a wallet from the counter of a Subway restaurant on Ocean Avenue at 8:55 p.m. on Dec. 5. Stolen items included $24 in cash, several credit cards and items of identification.

An unknown person stole $1,100 from a victim’s TD Bank checking account on Dec. 7 at 10 p.m. The money was withdrawn in four separate transactions.

A grey Buick four-door Sedan struck a 2010 grey BMW Sedan and the driver of the Buick fled the scene at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Peninsula Boulevard on Dec. 4 at 3:20 a.m.
