Lynbrook firefighters cut off a car door to rescue an injured passenger after a two-car collision at the intersection of Merrick Road and Ocean Avenue.

Lynbrook firefighters used the Jaws of Life to get an injured passenger out of their vehicle after a two-car crash on June 19 at the intersection of Merrick Road and Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
The woman’s injuries were not severe, according to the department, and she was transported to a nearby hospital. The East Rockaway Fire Department also responded.
