The Sacred Heart Academy graduate, who now works in marketing, said she has always been a writer: throughout the years, Puzzi found that during the most difficult moments, she would rely mainly on her writing as an escape. While she didn't realize that stories reflecting her life would end up on bookshelves, Puzzi is glad things turned out the way they did, giving her the opportunity to send a message to children: "It's okay to do things, experience things [because] your core will always be home."
Puzzi is working on a number of new projects, including a possible sequel to Rosy and Simon's Front Yard Adventure, and hopes to continue publishing her work. "My heart is really in writing," Puzzi said. Of Rosy and Simon, she said, "I fell in love with these characters ... they're very close to me so I can't just quit on them at this point." Sticking true to her theme of venturing and experiencing new things, Puzzi is ready to go on another journey: "I'm probably going to pick it up and do another book and see where it takes me," she said.
