State Housing Recovery Program to compensate those whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy, but whose flood insurance claims were rejected by FEMA because the damage had been caused by “earth movement” rather than directly by floodwaters. more

I’ve received an overwhelming number of questions as I make my way through people’s damaged homes, preparing damage assessment reports and discussing rebuilding. I’ll try to answer as many as I can in the next few columns more
