Stage actress Janet Dacal, a member of the original Broadway cast of “In the Heights,” paid a visit to Malverne High School to conduct a performance workshop with students, who will be presenting their own production of “In the Heights” on March 6, 8 and 9. She shared her story with students, answered questions and offered feedback on student performances. In addition to singing one of the songs herself, she guided students on how to improve their theater performances and how to really stand out in the business.
