Nassau County police arrested a Hempstead man after he committed four burglaries in Uniondale and West Hempstead starting last June.

Malique Wilson, 21, of Hempstead, broke into four homes through their rear and side windows — Northern Parkway in Uniondale on June 10; Leonard Avenue in Uniondale on June 20; Bell Street in West Hempstead on June 27; and Pamlico Avenue in Uniondale on Aug. 5 — stealing assorted jewelry at each crime scene, according to police.

Officers responded to the break-ins and secured latent prints on the day of each burglary, which later revealed that those prints belong to Wilson.

Wilson was arrested on March 11 at 262 Old Country Road in Mineola.

He was arraigned on Wednesday, March 12 at First District Court in Hempstead and charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and attempted burglary.
