Tyson, Egan and Stewart were honored by Superintendent Dr. James Hunderfund, music department staff and members of the Board of Education at the Sept. 10 Board meeting.

Malverne High School students Jordan Tyson and Suzanna Egan have been chosen to represent the district’s music department at this year’s New York State School Music Association Winter Conference after achieving perfect scores at All-State auditions last spring. Fellow musician Conrad Stewart achieved alternate status for the conference.

The festival, which will be held in December, will feature high school student-musicians from throughout New York State.
