Malverne trustee seeks legal recourse against board
(Page 3 of 3)
Gina Genti

Neither Genti’s attorney nor any members of the Board of Education commented on her petition.

Before her term ends later this month, Genti said, she hopes not only that the Supreme Court will overturn the board’s actions, but that Malverne administrators will reform the way they deal with board members and the public.

“You can’t bully a board member to be quiet,” she concluded.

Corruption, incompetence, cheating, wasteful spending, horrendous academic scores per capita, rampant nepotism and favoritism, disrespectful and dismissive board, 8 current lawsuits, apathetic voters, frustrated residents: great fields and music program. Did I miss anything about the Malverne School District? District needs a purge, independent auditing and federal oversight ASAP. Just filthy.

I wonder why I even read this rag, with it's incompetent reporting.... reporters! This article states that the trustee's term is up in September, yet later states it is up the end of this month. Which is it? Secondly, since when can a school superintendent appoint a school board trustee, since he works directly for and answers to the board? I'm just very confused, and if I am correct, this reporter should first print a retraction/correction before submitting her resignation!
