Malverne's calendar girl for 2015 is Nala the Cat

Our "Neighbors in the News" page isn't just for residents and local politicians. Nala the Cat, formerly of Courageous Cats Rescue and Adoption in Malverne, is making headlines for being featured in Workman Publishing's "365 Cats", a daily 2015 calendar for sale nationwide. This photo of Nala will grace the calendar's page for September 25. Nala found her forever home through the non-profit several months ago.
