The Direct Marketing Association of Long Island named Didit CEO Dave Pasternack to its Hall of Fame.

Dave Pasternack, co-founder and chief executive officer of the fully integrated marketing and communications firm, Didit, has been named an honoree of the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island (DMALI) 2016 Hall of Fame.  He, along with two other honorees, were recognized at a ceremony in Hauppauge on June 16.

DMALI is a non-profit organization that has an interest in Long Island’s direct marketing industry.

A marketing innovator and pioneer, Pasternack, of Oceanside, co-founded Didit in 1996.  He and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) leader Kevin Lee evolved Didit into a full-service agency by making the successful decision to acquire eight companies within just a three-year period.  Today, Didit is a full-service traditional and digital marketing and public relations agency with offices in Mineola, Manhattan and Massachusetts, and a direct marketing division Didit DM in Plainview.

Pasternack founded his first computer industry direct marketing company in 1980, Logicsoft, named by Inc. Magazine as the fourth fastest-growing private company of 1984. In 1988, he founded his first internet-based company, United States Information Corporation, which became one of the largest publishers of federal government bidding and contract information in the U.S.  In 1990, Dave founded the Internet Marketing Group and six years later, he started Didit.

“It is an honor to receive an award of this caliber,” said Pasternack.  “Direct marketing continues to be a critical vehicle in the communications landscape.  It presents an effective way to stand out in today’s culture of information-overload and distraction, and we’ve seen enormous value in embracing and integrating the traditional aspect of direct marketing with our digital capabilities for our clients.”
