The Malverne School District congratulated Howard T. Herber Middle School’s valedictorian Sabrina Ramharakh and salutatorian Molly Matthaei. Both students have excelled in their middle school career and earned the top ranking during their moving-up ceremony on June 24.
Ramharakh has been a scholar-athlete, performing on the school’s soccer, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse teams. She is a member of the jazz band and served as class president this year. Sabrina placed first at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair and is excited to further her science research at the high school level.
Also a scholar-athlete on the school’s lacrosse team, Matthaei is a member of the jazz band and was part of the “Wizard of Oz” musical ensemble. She has earned a perfect attendance award and is excited for the opportunity to take some business electives at the high school in the fall.
Both scholars look forward to joining the award-winning Pride of Malverne Marching Band at Malverne High School and taking part in the Disney competition.
