West Hempstead Library Director Regina Mascia celebrated her 20th anniversary in her position on Aug. 2. Mascia celebrated her milestone with staff members while receiving congratulatory messages from community organizations and individuals.
Mascia was the director throughout the planning and construction phases of the library at 500 Hempstead Avenue in 2007 and the 50th Anniversary of the library’s charter in 2017. During her 20 years as director, Mascia was recognized for her unique vision for the facility, its patrons and the services it provides the community.
