WILLIAM MANSMANN

Valedictorian

William Mansmann is an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction. At Calhoun, he spent a great deal of time with the Model United Nations club, as well as enjoyed the mock trial and art clubs. He volunteered as a peer tutor in chemistry and math, and was among a small number of students to take AP calculus BC, the most rigorous math course offered in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District.

Mansmann dreams of becoming a sports statistician. He will continue his studies at Cornell University in the fall.

JULIANNE CICCONE

Salutatorian

Calhoun officials describe Julianne Ciccone as “sincere, curious, and extremely bright.”

She is a member of five honor societies and was particularly active in the Art Honor Society. She was a member of Calhoun’s varsity tennis team for four years and was team captain. She was also one of two students on Calhoun’s Site Based Management Committee, and she was a member of the Distributive Education Club of America, a marketing group, competing at the regional and state levels the past two years. Additionally, she volunteered in a special-education class during her senior year.
