Holy Week Services in Bellmore-Merrick

Several of Bellmore-Merrick’s Christian churches have announced their schedule of Holy Week and Easter observances. Easter will be celebrated on Sunday, March 31 this year. Several of the area’s churches will be holding different activities for parishioners in addition to religious services. The schedules of events at these churches are as follows:

Sacred Heart Parish

March 28: “Mass of the Lord’s Supper” at 7:30 p.m.

March 29: “Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion” at 3 p.m.; “Stations of the Cross” program at 7:30 p.m.

March 30: Easter Vigil at 8 p.m.

March 31: Easter Sunday services at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m., as well as 12 p.m.

Neighborhood Assembly of God

2832 Merrick Road

March 29: “Passion Service” at 7:30 p.m.

March 31: “Sunrise Service” (at the Mill Pond entrance at Merrick Road, across from the church) at 6:30 a.m.; Easter celebration at 10 a.m.
