Rockville Centre police say they arrested two subjects that were wanted in connection with a string of burglaries in Freeport, Merrick and Lynbrook that dated back to July.

According to village Police Commissioner Charles Gennario, Officer John Murphy noticed a grey 2000 Chrysler minivan with a Tennessee license plate on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook at around 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 18. He and Officer Joe Scibico conducted a traffic stop near the Ramada hotel in Rockville Centre. Following an investigation with assisting officers, they identified the occupants as the two subjects wanted through a Nassau County Burglary Pattern Intelligence Bulletin.

Police arrested Juan Carlos Lora, 34, of Far Rockaway, and Michelle Depra, 26, of Hempstead. Lora was charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, one count of attempted burglary and criminal sale of marijuana. Depra was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary. They were arraigned in First District Court on Feb. 19.
