Friends and family of the late Lance Cpl. Greg Buckley Jr. gathered at Oceanside Park on July 19 to celebrate his life and play basketball. Buckley was a Marine serving in Afghanistan when he was killed on Aug. 10, 2012. He was 21. This was the third annual tournament, which is held on Buckley’s birthday. He was a varsity basketball player at Oceanside High School.
