“The application is one page,” Terzulli said. “We’ll close you out in two to three days. We’re doing these around the clock. We’re doing them on Sundays, Saturdays, in the evening. If you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you.”

“We’ve got to keep the pressure on, because we have to get what’s right for Island Park,” Ruzicka said. “And I’m going to do my best to do that.”
He spoke of the importance of rebuilding Island Park smarter. “Island Park took a tremendous hit,” Ruzicka said. “And to bring it back, we’re going to have to do something different. We’re going to have to start looking at Island Park in a different way. Many of our residents are already looking at raising the level of their homes.”
According to Ruzicka, the village has already contacted a design firm to help officials take a fresh look at the downtown area. “It’s the only way I can see Island Park coming out of this and being what it was, and maybe even better,” he said.
“Whether you’re a member of the Chamber or not,” said Ingoglia, “we’re all united in getting Island Park what it deserves.”
