South Shore Symphony Orchestra
Hear the South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Scott Jackson Wiley, when the orchestra performs at Molloy’s Madison Theatre. Acclaimed pianist Karen Faust Baer, formerly Vocal Director at South Side High School in Rockville Centre, joins the orchestra as the featured soloist. The program includes George Gershwin’s Concerto in F for Piano and Orchestra and Lullaby for Strings, along with Manuel de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat.

Celebrating Black History Month

‘Black Spirit and the Struggle for Freedom’
Hofstra University student musicians and actors, along with acclaimed guest artists, recreate seminal events in African-American culture and the struggle for freedom in the U.S., in song and dance. Soprano-composer-writer Diana Solomon-Glover, choreographer Mickey Davidson, baritone Steven Herring, and renowned tenor Robert Mack perform with the Hofstra Chamber Choir, Hofstra Jazz Ensemble, Hofstra Symphony Orchestra, and Hofstra student dancers.

Rock of Ages
Those crazy days known as the big hair, loud partying ‘80s come alive when Rock of Ages rocks Long Island. The feel-good musical – set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip when a small-town girl meets a big-city dreamer in L.A.’s most legendary rock club – will have everyone feeling that special vibe. The story of boy meets girl is told through the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more.
