Making sure Oceanside has a good holiday
Firefighters tom Cesiro, James Stiner, Brendan Combs, Ed Scharfberg, Charles Artino and Michael Marciano helped out at the OCS Holiday Party.

Oceanside Community Service held a holiday party in the week before Christmas, giving everyone in Oceanside a chance to make sure that Hurricane Sandy didn’t ruin the season.

Held at Oceanside High School, the day started with food for the hundreds who attended, filling their bellies with a hot meal. Then, while children were entertained with a movie, parents were able to “shop” through donated toys and other goods to pick things out for the holidays. And as they left, families were able to take donated food from the pantry that was set up in the Oceanside High School lobby.
