Residents from surrounding communities came by to get information about local temples and tour the JCC facilities on Sunday.

They came from Oceanside, Island Park, even the Five Towns on Sept. 20, to see what the Friedberg JCC in Oceanside has to offer. At the well-attended event everyone could try something new for free, including working out in the fitness center and swimming in the indoor, heated pool. They event featured a mommy and me class, a bounce house and a Sukkah all ready to decorate.
In addition they raffled off a free year of membership, as well as a pair of tickets to that night’s Yankees vs. Mets game at Citi Field.
