So I get another completely inappropriate use of tax money mailers from a GOP candidate for this coming election. This time its a letter from Mr Santino, complaining that the Herald 'refused' to print his letter so he is forced to mail it to each and every voter in his district. Lo and behold, the next day the letter is printed in the Herald. Do the tax payers get reimbursed?

Am I the only one who is disgusted at the frequency of 4 color mailers at election time telling us of the wonderful job these public servants are doing? The one from Fran Becker actually crossed the line to political mailing. I'm really wondering why the Nassau Dems or the TOH Dems if there are any aren't suing for misuse of tax payers money.

Another thing: Mangano has banners hanging at the entrance to the Beth page State Fair. NO ONE has ever done this before and someone told me he has banners on the parkway overpasses. Not campaign banners, either.

Plus this: There is a law against putting signs on grassy medians and on light/or other poles. What about some fines? The county could run for years on fines from this activity.
