I have never been aware of such an outpouring of giving for Thanksgiving as I am this year. The giving seems to have increase proportionally to the need. The story above is a perfect example. Similarly, The Vineyard Church in RVC treated everyone royally who needed a place to go for a holiday meal. In addition to that, the Coral House in Baldwin opened its doors to the needy. Reservations simply needed to be made through the office of the County Executive. In a time where there is so much need, there is an equal amount of extraordinary giving. Good Bless everyone. Those who gave and those who were given. This is what it is all about.Community, charity, faith, gratitude. We ARE our brother's keeper and this Thanksgiving we were kept very well,indeed.
