I can not believe how the Herald has become a place for "puff" pieces for the City of Long Beach. I take the safest city article for example. Safewise uses 2011 statistics for their report. If I had any journilistic sense and I was reporting this informnation I would have investigated those numbers and compared them to 2012 and 2013 and turned the story into a real story about what may or may not be going on in Long Beach.Our police commisioner is paid more than his counterpart in New York City

and 28 police officers earn more than our City Manager.

What gives sir. Does Mr. Tepper (junior) feed you this fluff.
