The intersection is a nightmare - plain and simple! People zip off the highway at both exits (the S exit which exits to Central, and the N exit which exits to Linden) with no regard for the stop signs posted, pedestrians in the area, or oncoming vehicles which HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY! I can't tell you how many near misses there are from people exiting the highway and not stopping for the stop sign, or for the cars that have turned off the Westbound exit onto Central Avenue. Add in the bus route, and it couldn't get worse. There needs to be a light at the Eastbound exit, just like there is as the Westbound exit. And there shouldn't be a house right by the entrance to the highway, especially when cars needs to basically make a U turn to get on the eastbound highway from Linden Boulevard. Even in the 1950's this could not have been a good working solution.
