When is enough, enough? So now, the new logic is that the proposed budget..."will raise taxes by an average of $60 per home — significantly less than the $107 district officials initially estimated." So since it's less than originally expected, we're supposed to be relieved? There should be NO raise in taxes PERIOD! Will the school district be satisfied when everyone leaves the Island? Most of my property tax bill is slated for the school budget. I, for one, will be voting "no" in the upcoming budget vote.
