why would you print an article in which the writer even acknowledges that the Blakeman even was based on innuendos?

This reminds me of Fox news. They say something over and over again. The next day its "Some people say". By the next day its a 'fact'.

Lets try to remember that the journalist and the newspaper are the guardians of a free society and can only do this when they are unbiased and print facts, not 'some people say'isms.
