The eighth annual Food and Wine Tasting, a fundraiser for the Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Parade, took place last Friday as more than 30 local eateries and businesses donated food, wine and beer to the event.

Live music was provided by Jerry and the Newcomers, and the Hagen School of Irish Dance performed Irish step dancing.

Proceeds from event will go to the charities supported by the parade, which this year, are the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS), The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island and East Coast Assistance Dogs, Inc. (ECAD). The parade is set for March 24.
