Patrons and supporters of Feel Better Kids, Inc., were the first people to eat at the new Bonefish Grill after its opening on June 18. Feel Better Kids, Inc. is a charity that helps seriously ill and disabled children.

The restaurant, located at 340 Sunrise Highway on the corner of Morris Avenue and Sunrise Highway, opened after a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Francis X. Murray, Chamber of Commerce members, Bonefish Grill Managing Partner Marcus Andriotti, Bonefish Grill Joint Venture Partner Diane Hartzel and Bonefish workers.

Fifty percent of the evening’s proceeds were donated to Feel Better Kids, Inc. — about $5,000.

“We are very happy to open our doors to the Rockville Centre community, and begin a wonderful partnership with Feel Better Kids,” Andriotti said. “This is a homecoming for me, as I return to where most of my family lives.”
