Farewell to two accomplished public servants

That was the kind of legislator Fuschillo was. He cared. He put himself on the line for his beliefs and his constituents. That, in large part, is what made him a truly great elected leader.

Fuschillo, now 53, resigned on Dec. 31 to become executive director of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. We were sorry to hear that he was leaving the Senate, but we certainly wish him well in his new endeavor. We offer our heartfelt thanks, Chuck. New York is a better place because of your service.
