Rockville Centre native Crystal Dunn, left, scored the winning goal in the overtime women’s soccer match between her University of North Carolina and the top-ranked Brigham Young University, sending the Tar Heels to the Final Four.

Dunn scored both UNC goals in the game that ended 2-1 in double overtime. Her first goal came just three minutes into the game, and her second strike came within four minutes of the end of the second overtime.

Dunn has started for the Tar Heels since her Freshman season. Dunn was a starter on the U-20 Women’s National Team that won the World Cup in Japan in September, and started on defense for the World Cup held in Germany in 2010.
