RVC Little League team wins big

Congratulations to the Rockville Centre Little League 12 and under Williamsport All-Stars for winning the District 30 Championship for the second year in a row. After decisive wins against East Rockaway and Freeport, the team advanced to the championship round and defeated Oceanside American Little League 4-3.

In the championship game, the team received outstanding pitching from Tommy DeJong and Luke Napolitano, as well as key home runs from Napolitano, Will Seifert and John LaCava. The team went on to win sectional games against Spring Creek (Brooklyn) and Ozone Howard (Queens) Little Leagues before falling to South Shore American (Staten Island) Little League.
