Last week, the Rockville Centre School District’s Best Buddies program held its annual New Years dance.

Best Buddies is an international organization that seeks to create one-to-one friendships, employment opportunities and leadership opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Held at South Side High School on Jan. 8, the Best Buddies rang in the New Year with food, music and lots of dancing. It was a great start to 2014.
