Arrests

A resident of Lafayette Avenue, Lakeview was arrested on Jan. 29 and charged with criminal mischief after an investigation by police in the vicinity of S. Park Avenue and Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Cumberland Street, Rockville Centre was arrested on Feb. 1 and charged with aggravated family offense and criminal contempt after an investigation by police at his residence.

A resident of Village Avenue, Rockville Centre was arrested on Feb. 4 and charged with criminal contempt after an investigation by police at a Morris Avenue, Rockville Centre residence.

Larcenies

A resident of Vincent Avenue, Lynbrook reported on Jan. 28 that someone damaged the passenger side window of his 2011 Honda while it was parked in front of 36 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre, and stole a backpack containing a stethoscope, valued at $95, and assorted checks.

A resident of 228th Street, Springfield Gardens reported on Jan. 28 that someone damaged the passenger side window of his 2005 GMC while it was parked in front of 60 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre and stole an iPad valued at $840.

A resident of Westminster Road, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 29 that someone damaged the driver side door of his 2013 Dodge while parked in Municipal Parking Field 8 and stole an iPad valued at $600 and an Avesos computer valued at $1,200.

A resident of Cornwell Avenue, Williston Park reported on Jan. 30 that someone stole his iPad, valued at $400, and two external hard drives, valued at $200, from his 2011 Ford while parked in Municipal Parking Field 8.

A resident of Rockaway Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 31 that someone removed automobile parts, valued at $11,534.99, from the rear yard of the residence.

A resident of Harvey Avenue, Oceanside reported on Jan. 31 that someone stole her 2003 Audi while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 4 in Rockville Centre.

A resident of Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre reported that someone removed baseball cards valued at $2,700 and prescription medications from a safe located beneath her bed.

A resident of Woodmere reported on Feb. 3 that someone broke the window of his vehicle and stole his GPS device and wallet containing credit cards.

Unusual Incident

A resident of Reid Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 30 that someone made an unauthorized $50 transaction against her NEFCU account.

Assaults

A resident of Brenner Avenue, Bethpage reported on Jan. 29 that he sustained injuries during an altercation with a coworker while at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre.

A resident of Baldwin reported on Feb. 3 sustaining a laceration near his eye after being punched by someone on S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Inwood reported on Feb. 3 sustaining a laceration near his eye after being punched by someone on S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Harassment

A resident of Banks Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Feb. 6 that someone sent her text messages causing annoyance and alarm.

Criminal Mischief

A resident of Forest Place, Rockville Centre reported on Feb. 4 that the rear window of her 2012 BMW was damaged while parked in Municipal Parking Field 3.

A resident of S. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone damaged the cable wire for the apartment.

Property Damage

A resident of Jefferson Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Feb. 3 that his vehicle was damaged while parked in the building lot during the afternoon.

Fire

Police and fire personnel responded to Berkshire Road, Rockville Centre for a dryer fire. The fire was extinguished by RVCFD.
