Arrest

A resident of Shore Front Parkway, Rockaway Park was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and a bench warrant following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Winding Road, Rockville Centre.

Burglary

A resident of Varick Court, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 8 that someone entered his residence through an unlocked sliding glass door in the rear, ransacked three upstairs bedrooms and stole assorted jewelry.

Larcenies

The manager of Karp Kia, located at 372 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 7 that someone stole seventeen catalytic converters valued at $34,000 from new automobiles parked at the dealership.

A resident of W. Chester Street, Long Beach reported on Jan. 11 that someone made an unauthorized transaction of $554.24 against his American Express card and an unauthorized transaction of $327.45 against his Capitol One card for food and beverage at Cabo Restaurant, located at 3A N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

A resident of Maple Avenue, Franklin Square reported on Jan. 13 that someone stole her iPod Touch valued at $250 while at Cabo Restaurant.

Unusual Incidents

A resident of N. Oceanside Road, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 7 that someone called and attempted to have her pay a $450 fee for supposed lottery winnings of $2,500,000.

A resident of Tamwood Court, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 13 that someone made unauthorized transactions, totaling $3,546.06 against her Citibank credit card.

An 11-year-old resident of Stonewell Road, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 11 that he believed that a Honda occupied by two males followed him from the bus stop at Stonewell Road and Virginia Avenue to his residence on Stonewell Road, Rockville.

A resident of N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 9 that someone made $1,962.74 in unauthorized transactions against her Discover Card account.

Harassment

A resident of Lincoln Street, Garden City reported on Jan. 7 that he was harassed by the boyfriend of his former wife while in front of 100 Banks Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Milford Place, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 10 that a patient at Mercy Medical Center threw a water pitcher at her, causing annoyance and alarm.

A security guard at Mercy Medical Center reported on Jan. 10 that a patient threatened him, causing annoyance and alarm.

A resident of Seitz Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 10 that a former boyfriend of his wife was observed on his property on three separate occasions causing annoyance and alarm.

Property Damage

A resident of Sherman Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 7 that the driver side of her 2011 Suburu was damaged by unknown means.

A resident of Tarence Street, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 8 that the passenger side of his 2011 Toyota was damaged by unknown means while parked at CVS Pharmacy, located at 598 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Merrick Road, Rockville Centre reported on Jan. 12 that his 2007 Mazda was damaged by unknown means while parked on Davison Place.

Village Code Violations

A resident of Valley Stream was issued an appearance ticket on Dec. 27 charging him with an open container violation.

A resident of East Meadow was issued an appearance ticket on Dec. 28 charging him with littering.
