The same day, a resident of Denton Avenue, Lynbrook, reported that someone stole two NY license plates from his car while it was parked at Municipal Parking Field 16.

A resident of Liberty Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone stole an iPod, valued at $150, from an unsecured car while it was parked in his driveway.

A resident of Yale Place reported that someone stole his 1982 Rallye touring bicycle, valued at $350, from the vicinity of Front Street and North Village Avenue.

A resident of Addison Place reported on Oct. 2 that someone removed an iPad, valued at $700, from a car parked in his driveway.

The next day, three members of Sky Athletic, 310 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre, reported larcenies from their cars while the vehicles were parked in Parking Field 8.

Unusual Incidents

A resident of Evers Lane, Oceanside reported on Sept. 27 that she thought she saw a man with a handgun while in the Public Square at Molloy College. Police and college security searched the area with no results.

The same day, a resident of Grand Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone transferred $80 from a Money Pak card that was purchased at Walgreens.

Criminal Mischief

A resident of Oceanview Avenue, Valley Stream, reported on Sept. 29 that seomone damaged a glass storefront window, valued at $245, located at Emris Penny Salon, 271 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

Property Damage

A resident of S. Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, Florida reported on Sept. 26 that her 2009 Honda was damaged while parked in the lot located at 150 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre.

The next day, a resident of East Windsor, New Jersey reported that the driver side of her 2012 Volvo was damaged by unknown means while it was parked at Best Western, located at 173 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Carlyle Street, Cedarhurst reported on Sept. 28 that his 206 Jaguar was damaged while parked in front of 287 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

Property Lost

A resident of 157th Street, Jamaica reported on Sept. 29 that she loast a passport and iPhone while at Dunn’s River, located at 93 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.
