Ice Skating on Dec. 28
Children grades 1-8 can have two hours of ice skating, including skate rental on Dec. 28. Fee is $17 and it will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children from kindergarten to first grade will have a "Just for Fun Day, including rope swing, trampoline and Tumble. Fee for the program is $12. The programs begin at 10:45 a.m. There will also be a Whole Lotta Fun Day, which includes games like gaga, wembly and newcomb. The program also begins at 10:45 and costs $12. There will also be a trip to the Long Island Laser Bounce in Levittown for grades 1-8. The fee is $30 and includes a pizza lunch. The laster tag program begins at 12:15 p.m.
Bowling on Dec. 31
Children grades kindergarten through 2nd can join the Rec Center for the Candy Cane Classic for musical chairs, coke & Pepsi, Seaweed and other games beginning at $10:15. The fee is $12. THere will be New Years Eve Dodgeball for children grades 3-5, beginning at 10:45 at a fee of $12. There will be two hours of bowling at RVC Lanes for grades 1-8. The bus for grades 1-2 leaves at noon and returns at 2:30 p.m., while the bus for grades 3-8 leaves the rec center at 12:30 and returns at 3 p.m. The fee will be $17.

Open Gym Program
The main gymnasium of the Rec Center will be open for free play basketball for grades 4 and up on Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 29. The evening open gym for grades 6 and up will begin Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 from 7:30 to 10:15 p.m. Admission is by valid 2012-2013 Recreation Card.

Sandel Senior Men’s Club
The club meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. for breakfast and business. At 11 a.m., guest speakers discuss topics of interest to men.
