Mercy to offer Diabetes-management programs

Mercy will offer winter sessions of Diabetes Self-Management Training programs. The four-session programs will be conducted in January on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and in February on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The program is most often covered by medicare, medicaid and private insurance. Little League Spring Registration

The Rockville Centre Little League will hold three in-person registration days for new players at the Anderson Recreation Center at 111 Oceanside Road. The last registration day will take place on Jan. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. New registrants must bring an original birth certificate and proof of residence (tax bill, utility bill, etc). Returning players can register online at rvclittleleague.com.

Singles Concert

Dale & Steve’s South Shore Singles presents Tommy Sullivan of the ‘original’ Brooklyn Bridge. Join the Long Island Music Hall of Famer for an evening of great music on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Oceanside Jewish Center, 2860 Brower Ave., Oceanside. Fee is $20 (for members it’s $18). Winter Wishes Blood Drive
