Rockville Centre Senior Center's Monte Carlo Night set for May 14

Tickets are now available for FOSSI’s Monte Carlo Night. Don’t miss the fun! The excitement begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the Sandel Center, 50 S. Park Ave. Rockville Centre.

Guests will find the Sandel Center transformed into a glittering casino. Professional dealers, loads of “betting” action, big prizes and music will accompany a light dinner, open bar, and spectacular dessert buffet.

Deputy Mayor Nancy Howard will be the 2016 honoree for her tireless work on behalf of Rockville Centre’s older adults. Howard has served as a trustee and deputy mayor of Rockville Centre since July 2011. She has worked hard to ensure that many quality of life issues have been addressed and enhanced to benefit village residents. As liaison to the Sandel Senior Center and the Rockville Centre Department of Senior Services, Howard is dedicated to supporting its mission to provide essential, quality and responsive services to our older residents.

Monte Carlo Night is the major fundraiser for Friends of Senior Services, Inc. (FOSSI), a not-for-profit organization that supports the RVC Department of Senior Services. Many of the wonderful programs, activities and upgrades at the Sandel Center are made possible with monies raised each year.
