Arrests

A resident of 58th Street, West New York, New Jersey was arrested on Sept. 18 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations after an investigation by police personnel in Municipal Parking Field 12.

A resident of South Franklin Avenue, Hempstead was arrested on Sept. 22 and charged with trespass, possession of burglar tools and two open warrants after a police investigation in the vicinity of Molloy College at 1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre.

The following dayA resident of Charing Cross Road, Baldwin was arrested and charged with assault after an investigation in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Orlando Avenue, West Hempstead was arrested and charged with assault in connection with the same incident.

A resident of Pinebrook Avenue, West Hempstead was arrested in connection with the same incident and charged with assault.

Assaults

A resident of Stewart Avenue, Bethpage reported on Sept. 17 that the previous month, someone assaulted him in the vicinity of Dark Horse, 12 S. Park Ave., Rockville Centre, resulting in three facial fractures and a knee injury.

A resident of Dogwood Lane, Berkley Heights, New Jersey reported on Sept. 22 that someone struck him in the right eye while in front of Beach House, at 21 S. Park Ave., resulting in injury requiring medical attention at South Nassau Communities Hospital.

Burglary

A resident of Allen Road, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 21 that someone entered his residence through the kitchen window and stole a Lenovo V570 laptop computer valued at $1,000.

Larcenies

A resident of Dahill Road, Old Bethpage reported on Sept. 17 that he lost his wallet in the vicinity of Kasey’s Kitchen and Cocktails, 23 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre and shortly afterward someone used his TD Bank debit card to make a purchase at Exxon, 345 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of West Avenue, Hicksville reported on Sept. 19 that someone stole $80 from his 2001 Ford that was parked at Skelos Sports Complex.

The same day, a resident of Maple Avenue, Farmingdale reported that someone stole $100 and an iPad valued at $800 from his vehicle while it was parked at Skelos field.

A resident of Jackson Street, Hempstead reported on Sept. 23 that someone stole two Social Security cards and $140 from her wallet while at Best Western, located at 173 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Evelyn Avenue, East Meadow reported the same day that someone stole her iPhone, valued at $800, from an outdoor table at Cabo, 3A N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

The next day, a resident of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone stole his 2002 Cannondale SV400 mountain bicycle valued at $800 from the bicycle rack on his 1996 Chevrolet while it was parked in front of his residence.

Unusual incidents

A resident of Old Mill Court reported on Sept. 20 that someone used her stolen Citibank MasterCard debit card to make deposits and withdrawals resulting a loss of $959.52.

Police personnel responded to 7 S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre on Sept. 18 for a reported unattended suspicious package. NCPD ESU responded to assist and investigation resulted in no further police action being necessary.

Property damage

A resident of Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 17 that the passenger side door to her 1999 Honda was damaged by unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field 4.

A resident of Garfield Avenue, West Hempstead reported on Sept. 18 that the rear window of her 2007 Honda was damaged by unknown means while at Sunrise Highway and Yorktown Street, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Judson Place, Rockville Centre reported on the same day that a tree limb damaged his 2010 Jeep while it was parked on Judson Place.

A resident of Park Lane, Franklin Square reported on Sept. 21 that his 2011 Mercedes Benz was damaged by unknown means while it was parked in front of 40 S. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.

Lost property

A resident of Crocker Street, Rockville Centre reported on Sept. 19 that she lost assorted jewelry, valued at $11,000, while parked in front of 530 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

The next day, a resident of Nicholas Avenue, Brooklyn reported on Sept. 20 that she drove from the vicinity of 100 Banks Avenue, Rockville centre with a Macbook laptop computer, valued at $1,500, on top of her car, resulting in it becoming lost.

A resident of Old Mill Court reported on Sept. 21 that she lost her pocketbook and its contents, including a driver license and Social Security card, while in Morgan Days North parking field in Rockville Centre.
