On Jan. 6, the Hispanic Brotherhood celebrated its Three Kings Day at the RVC Recreation Center.
The event was well attended, with more than 180 kids receiving free toys. The Three Kings were very busy with the amount of children who attended and the amount of toys the Hispanic Brotherhood was able to give away.
The Brotherhood received donations from many different individuals in the Rockville Centre community as well as from the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce. Schools near and far also donated toys for the event.
Concerns that Hurricane Sandy’s devastation could impact the amount of toys donated were unfounded, as people came out from all over to support the Hispanic Brotherhood in its endeavor.
