A Few Clouds Sky Athletic helps raise money for St. Jude

On Nov. 15, Sky Athletic Club in Rockville Centre hosted a fundraiser to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising more than $8,000 for the hospital.
The fundraiser was organized by Patti Birnbaum, a Hewitt resident and member of Sky Athletic Club. It was a special, 90-minute exercise class called “Cardio Burn.” In addition to the class, there were many raffles for local businesses and breakfast donated by Lynbrook Bagels.
The even raised $8,670 for St. Jude, which researches and treats pediatric cancer, and never denies treatment to patients.
