Sixty-five singers from the St. Agnes Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, under the director of Michael L. Bower, performed the National Anthem on July 28 at Citifield. The group was accompanied by 300 family members and friends, and the event was a fundraiser for the choir’s upcoming Concert Tour to Ireland and England in 2015. The weather was perfect that night, and the Mets won against the Phillies, 7-1.
