Temple honors Rockville Centre trustee at casino night
Donovan Berthoud/Herald
Rabbi Howard Diamond was among the congregation attending the synagogue’s casino night.

The congregation of Temple B’nai Sholom-Beth David honored Rockville Centre Trustee Michael Sepe, as well as long-time congregant Nanci Moskowitz, at its third annual Casino Night on Saturday.

The evening featured various gaming tables, and each attendee was provided with $200 in chips, as well as refreshments, an open bar and raffle prizes. All proceeds from the event went to the Temple’s fund.

Sepe, also an attorney in the village, has provided the synagogue with pro bono legal services and was instrumental in securing a long-term agreement with New Star Caterers, the temple’s new in-house kosher caterer.

Moskowitz, a partner of the Lynbrook tax preparation firm Moskowitz & Simons, has worked on a number of projects for the temple, including its First Annual Spring Sale in April 2011.
