Three Lakeview men arrested for robbery

Nassau County Police Officers responded to reports of a physical altercation at a delicatessen located at 1290 Woodfield Road, Lakeview and arrested three men.

According to police, a 30-year-old male victim was inside the deli when a verbal confrontation began with the three defendants: Reginald Summers, 44, of Champlain Avenue, Lakeview; Terence Cunningham, 26, of Jefferson Avenue, Lakeview; and Volney Milfort, 26, of Tanglewood Road, Lakeview.

Summers allegedly grabbed the victim by the jacket and pulled him outside the store as the other two men followed. The victim told police that he allegedly removed his cell phone to call police when Summers allegedly punched him in the face and about the head, knocking the victim to the ground.

According to police, Summers then grabbed the cell phone from the victim’s hand and all three defendants went back inside the deli. When they exited the store, Summers allegedly threw the cell phone at the victim.

A Nassau County Police ambulance responded at the victim was treated for an abrasion to his right eye and contusions and swelling to the back of his head. The defendants were all charged with robbery and were arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Jan. 3.
