RVC trustees, village justice reelected

Residents submit 47 write-in votes

Rockville Centre trustees Edward Oppenheimer and Emilio Grillo, along with village justice Kevin McDonough, were reelected Tuesday night to four-year terms.

Oppenheimer and McDonough will begin their third terms, and Grillo will commence his second. The three were running unopposed.

McDonough received 388 votes, while Oppenheimer and Grillo gained 387 and 327 votes, respectively, according to unofficial results provided by the village. There were 47 write-in votes, including 40 for Rockville Centre resident Marc Wieman for trustee.

A total of 434 voters turned out for the general election.
