Fair Sid Tanenbaum scholarship awarded

Lawrence High School senior Erika Kirchner was one of this year’s recipients of the 31st Annual Rock and Wrap It Up! Sid Tanenbaum Awards, which are given to both boys and girls at three high schools; Lawrence High School, Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway and Lawrence Woodmere Academy in memory of the late New York University All-American and New York Knickerbocker.
Since 1987, Cedarhurst-based Rock and Wrap It Up!, a global award-winning anti-poverty think tank that works to recover food and other assets from professional sports team has presented more than $30,000 in scholarships.
