Cranberry Festival
It’s time to celebrate the harvest at Long Island Children’s Museum, which explores Native American celebrations during a cranberry festival. The event honors Long Island’s historical link to this fruit, during a weekend of interactive activities. This multi-sensory exploration of the seasonal berry involves tasting foods made with cranberries, touching cranberry plants in a bog-like environment and a look at the science behind their “bounceberry” nickname. Visitors can also decorate fabric with natural cranberry dye, help complete the museum’s cranberry bog and make a clay pinch pot.

Her parents warn her not to eat too many of them, but when Pinkalicious does, she turns pink!
