Levittown schools to open late Wednesday

Posted

Levittown schools will also be operating on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 28, due to the recent blizzard which dropped more than a foot of snow on the region.

Superintendent Dr. Tonie McDonald said this decision was made in order to give road crews and district staff time to make it safe to transport children and clean the parking lots. Children should be at their bus stops two hours later than normal.

High school students should report to school at 9:27 a.m., middle school students should report at 9:57 a.m., and elementary school students should report at 11:10 a.m. The morning session of GC Tech will be cancelled and the afternoon session will begin at the regularly scheduled time of 11:50 a.m.

All midterm and Regents exams scheduled for Wednesday morning will be administered at 10 a.m.

Seaford schools will all open at the regularly scheduled times on Wednesday.
