Celebrating spring at St. William the Abbot

Posted

Local folks perused the St. William the Abbot School auditorium for Easter gifts and more at the annual spring craft fair on April 8.

Seaford residents and visitors made their way to the school, situated near the parish on Jackson Avenue, for the event. They visited dozens of vendors, picking up toys, crafts, clothes, homeware and Easter decorations.

A major feature of the fair is a plant sale. Avid and novice gardeners alike perused the greenery, flowers and seeds for sale.

Some attendees stopped shopping for a quick bite to eat. Hot and cold food was served at the fair. Plenty of chocolate, baked goods and other Easter treats were also available for purchase.

Just one week before the holiday, youngsters had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Parents excitedly snapped photos of their children, who were dressed in their Easter best.

Raffle prizes were given out, and there was a 50/50 drawing. Bob Molder hosted the event.
