Dr Lidia Epel practicing in Rockville Centre for over 30 years received the Distinguished Service Award from the Pierre Fauchard Academy at a ceremony held on June 8,2012 at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan.
Founded in 1936,the Pierre Fauchard Academy promotes the elevation of standards and practices of the art and science of dentistry worldwide.Its purpose is to educate dental professionals with the latest techniques and foster a sharing of ideas to improve the practice of dentistry.
The Academy is a global organization with 119 Sections,55 in the United States.Membership stands at 7,000 world wide with 4,000 in the United States
Dr Epel has served in many Rockville Centre associations. In 2011 she received the Community Service Award from the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre.
Dr Lidia Epel's children Diana & Bryan are graduates of South Side High School
